
2 oz (60 ml) lightly aged rum
3/4 oz (22.5 ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz (15 ml) freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1/4 oz (7.5 ml) maraschino liqueur
1/4 oz (7.5 ml) simple syrup
In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients.
Add ice and shake for 10 to 12 seconds.
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
Optional - Try adding a small peel of grapefruit into your drink when shaking. This technique is referred to as the "regal shake."
