Ingredients
1 ounce Dark Rum El Dorado 5yr (or sub Hamilton 86)
1 ounce Light Rum Caña Brava 3yr (or substitute Probitas for a Barbados/Jamaican twist)
1/2 ounce Banane du Brésil
1/2 ounce Lime Juice
1/2 ounce Demerara Syrup
Half of Ripe Banana
2–3 dashes Bittercube Blackstrap Bitters
1 cup of crushed ice.
Garnish
Banana Dolphin
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a blender, except the blackstrap bitters, then add 1 cup of crushed ice. Blend until mixed thoroughly to your liking. Pour the mix into a tiki mug. Finish with 2 to 3 dashes of blackstrap bitters. Garnish with a banana octopus or dolphin.
To make the Banana dolphin:
Cut banana in half. Make a split in the stem and add a Maraschino Cherry. Use two cloves for the eyes. Cut a fin from a pineapple frond, or from a banana peel.
